Urban Youth Impact (UYI) was founded in 1997 to make a positive impact on the lives of poverty-stricken inner-city youth living in the Tamarind Avenue corridor of West Palm Beach, FL. The area has notoriously high crime rates; 32% of youth living in the community are not expected to graduate from high school; over 50% live below the poverty level, and it is more likely that youth from this community will go to jail than graduate high school. Through its programs, UYI seeks to reverse troubling trends and fulfill its mission to love, equip and empower inner-city youth and their parents to fulfill their God-given purpose by offering programs designed to develop critical life skills that result in less juvenile crime, fewer teen pregnancies, less substance abuse, less child abuse/domestic violence, and fewer school drop-outs. Founded in 2011 by Jordan and Nicki Rubin, Beyond Organic Foundation is a biblically based charity that finds its roots in James 1:27, which teaches that pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. Our mission is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual aid to people in need. We carry out this mission through partnership with churches, ministries and missionaries to feed, clothe, shelter and care for people around the world. As our primary initiative for 2012, Beyond Organic Foundation created The Widows and Orphans Fund. This fund was established to provide food, clothing and shelter to widows and orphans around the world by partnering with churches, ministries and missionaries in order to have the greatest impact on those we serve.
Beyond Organic Foundation is a 501c3 public charity. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible.
